Manual (D&AD Writing for Design shortlisted 2019)
When the patent for Viagra expired, the race was on for companies to launch the first branded product. I worked with my friends at Onwards to create a new global men’s wellness brand that would not only be the first, but the best in a new market. The result was Manual.
The name already existed, so we created a tone of voice that felt ‘manual-y’, while still addressing tricky topics head-on. I worked on guidelines, lots of messaging and product packaging, as well as helping to define what the brand stood for and how it could help men open up.
This project was shortlisted for the D&AD Writing for Design category, 2019.
For Manual, with Onwards
